A 12 year-old from Aylesbury and his uncle are both shaving their heads today for a good cause.

Benito and his uncle Michele will be shaving their hair off today to raise money for Stoke Mandeville Hospitalin Aylesbury.

It comes after Benito's brother and dad decided to take the plunge after barbers shut following government restrictions.

The pair have decided if they are going to do it they should try and help a good cause out as well.

The goal is £750 and at the time of writing this article (09/04) they were already at £555.

Benito told mix96 how he feels about the haircut:

"I agreed to do it because it's a good cause and I think it would be good to donate some money to charity.

"I was feeling kind of skeptical because of the lack of hair... But peoples hair grows. Because of the self isolation people don't have to go out so when things go back to normal their hair will go back to normal as well."

Mario, Benito's dad, will be taking on the role of barber today for his son and is hoping people will join in and support the hard work being done at the Aylesbury hospital
