Aylesbury church lights up blue for NHS

As we once again clapped for carers on Thursday night, Aylesbury’s historic St. Mary’s Church joined in the celebrations.

The building was lit up in NHS blue for the evening, making it stand out on the town’s skyline.

The display was on show between 8 & 9pm.

Local lighting company GLX Productions helped to make it happen.

The two-minute round of applause for NHS staff and frontline workers has become a regular Thursday night activity to show appreciation for them during the coronavirus outbreak

Of course, others were joining in as well, including our police teams in Aylesbury.

They parked up outside Stoke Mandeville Hospital to show their respect for colleagues in the NHS.
