Bucks village surprise postman during Covid-19 lockdown.

A village in Buckinghamshire has surprised their postman by putting up lots and lots of thank-you posters.

People living in Nash, near Buckingham, were keen to pay tribute to their loyal postman Andrew Fraser for his service during the coronavirus pandemic.

Communicating via their Covid-19 WhatsApp group they plotted a surprise with residents across the village putting up posters to offer their thanks.

Michelle Crack, who lives in the High Street, was among the instigators and she created a video by using her daily exercise slot to walk around the village capturing the efforts of some of those who took part.

She said:

“Andrew has served this village for more than 20 years and, in these uncertain times, it’s particularly good to know that he is still here for us.

"He has become a friend to so many and we just wanted to let him know that we really do appreciate him.”
