Bucks band say thanks to NHS & key workers with music video

A band from Buckinghamshire have made NHS and other key workers the stars of their latest music video.

Serenade The Stars, have just released their latest single “Heart Shaped Parachute” and both the track and video are aimed at saying a huge thank you to all NHS staff and key workers keeping us safe during the current Covid 19 pandemic.

They managed to get lots of keyworkers to film themselves with a piece of paper with their name and job title.

Other people joined in too by writing 'Thank you' on a sheet of paper.

Here's the result:

Lyrics include:

We’ll paint the sky a thousand colours when we fly, and when we fall, we’ll pull the chord on our heart shaped parachute”

The thousand colours relate to the NHS coloured rainbow shining a ray of hope in the sky and the parachute being the perfect metaphor for every single key worker stopping the world from falling.

The band are due to perform on the Mix 96 discovers stage at Live in the Park 2020 this year.
