The number of deaths and confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Buckinghamshire has risen

The total number of COVID-19 related deaths at Buckinghamshire NHS Trust Hospitals has risen to 39 according to new figures, a rise of 5 on yesterday (15/04).

These deaths are recorded against the date of death rather than the date they were announced, which means the most recent days are subject to change as post-mortem tests are processed and data collected.

Nationally 13,729 people have sadly died, which is up 861 on yesterday.

These deaths do not include those that happen in the community, at places like care homes and hospices.

Confirmed cases in the county now stands at 542, which is up 21 on yesterday.

Although a rise the increase is smaller than what was seen between Tuesday's (14/02) figures and yesterday.

The figure of confirmed cases includes those who have recovered from the illness.
