CCTV released after Aylesbury Vale shop robbed

After a robbery in Steeple Claydon earlier this week, CCTV has been released.

Cigarettes and alcohol were stolen in the incident on Monday and now police have released the pictures above.

At around 5.15pm two people entered the Co-op and walked into the kiosk behind the tills.

They then took packets of cigarettes and tobacco and a bottle of alcohol from the shelves and put them into a carrier bag.

They ran out of the shop along West End Street towards the fountain.

No weapons were used but one offender told a customer that he had a knife.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Francesca Dell’Aglio, based at Aylesbury police station, said:

“I am releasing these images in the hope that someone recognises them or saw someone wearing this clothing in the area early on Monday evening.

“Those in the shop at the time were understandably left feeling shaken and I urge anyone with any information to get in touch.
