A 17-year-old has been left with two stab wounds after an incident in High Wycombe.

At approximately 6.30pm on Tuesday (5/5) a call was made to South Central Ambulance Service to reports that a boy had been assaulted in Hawthorne Road.

The boy was located with two stab wounds to his torso and was taken to hospital, where he remains at this time in a stable condition.

The three offenders are described as a black man, an Asian man and a white man.

A small dark vehicle was seen to leave the area after the incident.

An 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old man, both from High Wycombe, have been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent and have now been released on conditional police bail until 2 June.

Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Stephen Fox, of Force CID based at Wycombe, said:

“I am appealing to anybody who was in the vicinity of Hawthorne Road at around 6.30pm on Tuesday and who witnessed this incident to make contact with police.

“I am also keen to hear from anybody from the area who may have CCTV footage or dash-cam to please check this and contact us if it has captured anything that can assist this investigation.

“The injured boy remains in hospital, where thankfully his injuries are not life-threatening, but this was a serious incident and two people have been arrested in connection with this.”
