Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses of a collision in Buckingham.

At around 6.30am yesterday (10/05) a green Ford Focus was driving on Stowe Avenue towards the junction with the A422 when it left the road and collided with a tree.

A 32 year old man, and a 18 year old man were able to get out of the car.  The pair were taken to hospital where they remain with serious injuries.

However, a 39 year old woman sadly died at the scene.  Her next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

“I am appealing to anyone who witnessed this collision, or who has any information to please come forward.

“This happened in a residential area and I know that members of the public assisted with rescue attempts following the collision. We have officers available if you wish to speak to us about welfare support, so please do get in touch.

“Anyone with information can contact police by making a report online, quoting reference 43200137458. If you do not have access online, call 101.”
