We have seen deaths related to coronavirus in Buckinghamshire pass 100.

Latest figures show a rise in the number of people with COVID-19 who have passed away in Bucks hospitals.

Which means the total number of deaths reported is 103 people.

When it comes to reported cases in Bucks, as of today we had 890 positive tests. 

Which is a rise of 26 on Wednesday when 864 cases had been reported.

Figures for local areas have also been shared today with Aylesbury Vale having the highest number in Bucks:

  • Aylesbury Vale - 355
  • Chiltern - 175
  • South Bucks - 140
  • Wycombe - 220

These deaths do not include those that happen in the community, at places like care homes and hospices.

The figure of confirmed cases includes those who have recovered from the illness.

Deaths are reported by Bucks Healthcare NHS Trust, whilst cases are reported by Public Health England by county i.e. Buckinghamshire.

Numbers are for Buckinghamshire, excluding Milton Keynes.
