Life in lockdown captured by Aylesbury photographer

Families in Aylesbury have been standing on their doorsteps for a special photoshoot.

Photographer Kelly Bond can't do her normal job at the moment, so she's started taking lockdown photos of people at home.

Kelly is walking around the town, stopping a safe distance away and snapping households on their doorsteps.

She told us she wanted to help people remember this time and capture some joy:

"I can't be in the studio at the moment, so I wanted to keep myself busy.

"But I also wanted to do something special, especially for those with young children who want to look back on this time and remember the fun that they had, even just standing in their doorway."

Kelly started just a few days ago but already has quite a collection of family portraits.

She's visited different areas of Aylesbury each day, including Faiford Leys, Hawkslade and Watermead.

Kelly added:

"I think everyone is just grateful to have a visitor!

"Sometimes people see what I'm doing and then they want a photo, too, so I'm always adding people to my list.

"The positive reactions are really heart-warming, so it really makes me feel like I'm doing something special for people."
