Local businesses hoping to inspire people in Tring

Businesses in Tring have been forced to adapt how they working because of coronavirus.

A 3 minute video has been created by The Buzz Hub and Luma Visual to show how local businesses are changing the way they work at the moment.

28 local businesses are featured in the video, from distilleries to local shops across Tring, Berkhamsted, Hemel Hempstead and Aylesbury.

The aim of the video is to encourage people to shop locally now, but also after the lockdown.

Ben Marston from Puddingstone Distillery says:

"We continue to supply local, independent retailers.

"We are hugely humbled by the number of people ordering online for delivery to friends and family and we look forward to welcoming customers back into the distillery for tours and events."

With other businesses showing how although they can't do their day job from home they are support shoppers and clients as best they can.

Earlier in the week a timeline of lifting lockdown restrictions was given, however these are subject to the scientific evidence supporting the changes.

Until then local businesses are depending on people to help them as Katy Murray from The Buzz Hub explained:

"Watching local businesses adapt inspired us to create a record of what life in lockdown was like for these businesses, the difficulties they face, and the adaptations they've made.

"We also wanted to remind everyone of the fantastic variety of businesses we have on our doorstep and just how brilliant they are!"
