Gun fired at Aylesbury property

A property in Aylesbury appears to have been shot at.

Last night at around 11.30pm, a man was going into the property on Hampden Road when he heard a loud bang.

Damage was caused to the front downstairs window of the property.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Fred Ruffle, of Aylesbury Force CID, said:

“As a result of our initial enquiries, we believe that the damage to the window of the property was caused by a firearm being discharged.

“We are appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident, or who may have any information, to please come forward.

“A scene watch that was in place has since been removed. There may be an increased number of officers in the local area whilst we investigate.
