Road resurfacing continues across Bucks

Roads up and down the county are being resurfaced this week.

Transport for Buckinghamshire have released their latest list of works, as they make the most of quieter roads.

Works, which are part of TfB's highways maintenance programme, will take place at the following locations, weather-permitting and with no planned weekend working:

Surfacing Schemes

School Lane, Buckingham - from West Street to Nelson Street (Monday 18 May to Tuesday 19 May) Patching works using a daytime road closure between 7am and 7pm

Church Street / Lower End, Wingrave -  various locations along its length (Monday 18 May to Tuesday 19 May)  Patching works using a daytime road closure between 7am and 7pm  

Ellesborough Road, Wendover / Butlers Cross - from Butlers Cross to railway overbridge at Wendover (Monday 18 May to Thursday 21 May) Patching works using a daytime road closure between 7:30am and 4:30pm

Scotts Lane, Maids Moreton - from Avenue Rd to the end (Wednesday 20 May to Thursday 21 May) Patching works using a daytime road closure between 7am and 7pm

Welsh Lane, Biddlesden - from Stowe Park Junction to the 30 mph limit sign (Friday 22 May to Friday 19 June) Patching works using a daytime road closure between 7am and 7pm 

Drainage programme

A404 Amersham Road, Hazelmere - junction with Eastern Dene (Monday 18 May to Wednesday 27 May) Drainage improvements using temporary traffic lights between 8am and 4pm

Farmers Way, Seer Green - In closed off car park area (Monday 18 May to Friday 29 May) Drainage improvements using local traffic management between 8am and 5pm  

Bridge improvement programme

Marlow Bridge (Monday 18 May to Friday 10 July) Refurbishment work using a 24-hours-a-day road closure from Monday 18 May until Monday 1 June, and then two-way traffic lights between 8am and 6pm until Friday 10 July.
