2,000 litres of diesel goes up in flames in Princes Risborough

Three static tanks, containing 2,000 litres of diesel, were involved in a large fire in Princes Risborough yesterday afternoon.

Bucks Fire and Rescue say they received 70 calls to 999 about the blaze. 

Two cars, a lorry, and eight gas cylinders were also caught up in the fire, on Summerleys Farm Road.

Crews from Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Wheatley and Thame tackled the flames.

About 20 firefighters from Aylesbury, High Wycombe and Thame are currently at the scene. more are on the way

Thick black smoke could be seen for miles.
