Window smashed in attempted Risborough burglary

People living in a house in Princes Risborough have scared off whoever tried to burgle them.

Sometime between 11.15pm and 11.30pm on Sunday (31/5), offenders attempted to gain entry to a house in Manor Park Avenue.

The occupants of the property heard several bangs and a window smash and upon hearing the noise verbally challenged the suspect who immediately fled.

Investigating officer P1746 Richard Tulloch of the Investigation hub based at High Wycombe said:

"We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have information to call our 24-hour enquiry centre on 101, quoting reference 43200161334.

"If you don’t want to speak directly to police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."

No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
