Teen wanted after robbery of 87 year old in Aylesbury

Teen wanted after robbery of 87 year old in Aylesbury

An 87 year old man was robbed in Aylesbury in March and now police are searching for a teen.

Adelin Olteanu, 18 years old, is wanted in connection with a robbery in Aylesbury town centre.

In March an 87 year old was hit and had his wallet stolen, containing £10, bank cards and personal items. 

The victim suffered a serious head injury as a result of this incident and was treated at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. He has now been discharged. 

Police has said that the public should not approach Mr Olteanu if they see him and should instead call the police straight away. 

Designated investigator Hannah Mitchell of the Aylesbury Priority Crime Team, said:

“Despite efforts to locate Olteanu, we have as yet been unable to do so.

“I am appealing to anybody who knows where he is to get in touch with police.

“You can do so by calling 101, quoting reference number 43200090463, or if you wish to remain 100% anonymous, call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

“You can also make a report online.

“I would also urge the public if they see Olteanu, not to approach him, but to get in touch with police immediately on 999.”

The teenager is known to visit  Aylesbury, Manchester, Bradford, Leeds, Sheffield and London.

Adelin Neculai, aged 22, of Beech Crescent, Bradford, and Cristi Neculai, aged 24, of Rockingham Road, Corby, have been charged with robbery and will appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on June 10th.
