Two in court after elderly Aylesbury man robbed

After an 87-year-old man was robbed in Aylesbury, two men are in court today.

Adelin Neculai, from Beech Crescent in Bradford, and Cristi Neculai, from Rockingham Road in Corby, are both charged with robbery.

The 22 and 24-year-olds allegedly robbed the elderly man back in March, leaving him with a serious head injury.

They are due to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court today.

Earlier this week, police issued an appeal to find another suspect in the case.

Adelin Olteanu is aged 18-years-old.

Officers sat that if you see him, you should not approach him, but instead call 999 straight away.

Olteanu is known to frequent Aylesbury, Manchester, Bradford, Leeds, Sheffield and London.

Officers need to speak to Olteanu after the incident in which the 87-year-old man was hit in the town centre at around 10pm on Tuesday 17 March.

His wallet was stolen, containing £10, bank cards and personal items.

The victim suffered a serious head injury as a result of the incident and was treated in Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

He has since been discharged.
