Aylesbury man wanted after assault

A man is wanted after an attack in Aylesbury Town Centre last year. 

Idnan Khan, of St Anthony's Close, Aylesbury is wanted in connection with an incident of assault last year.

The incident happened at the Yellow Parrott Off Licence store in Kingsbury Square, Aylesbury on November 1st 2019.

The 26 year old victim was in the store and sustained an injury to the neck, after an offender assaulted him from behind. The offender is believed to have used a knife. 

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment following the attack and has been discharged. 

Khan, who is 23, is described by police as an Asian man, around 5ft 7inches tall.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Fred Ruffle, based at Aylesbury police station, said:

“We are appealing for the public’s help in tracing Khan, who is wanted in connection with this incident which happened in Aylesbury.

“If you see him, please contact police by calling 999 rather than approach him yourself.

“I would also like to appeal for any witnesses to the incident which took place in November.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Thames Valley Police by calling 101, quoting reference 43190341226.

“You can also make a report online, or you could call independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 for 100% anonymity.”
