House damaged by fire in Princes Risborough

A fire broke out in a house in Princes Risborough early this morning.

Bucks Fire & Rescue were called out to The Crescent just after 5.25am.

The fire was on the ground floor of a two-storey house.

The ground floor was 50 per cent damaged by fire and severely smoke-damaged.

The neighbouring house was also 20 per cent damaged by smoke.

It is unclear if anyone was injured at the moment.

BFRS sent two appliances and crews from High Wycombe, one from Aylesbury and four officers.

Firefighters used two hose reels, two sets of breathing apparatus, a fan and a thermal imaging camera.
