Coronavirus in Bucks: Trust hospital deaths rise to 121

The number of people who have died in Bucks hospitals with COVID-19 has risen by 1.

The total number of people who have passed away with COVID-19 at Bucks NHS Trust Hospitals has risen to 121.

Figures released this week by the Office for National Statistics put deaths in Bucks hospitals at 205, although this could include non trust sites. 

The data includes how many people from each local area has passed away with coronavirus, with Aylesbury Vale seeing the most number of deaths registered at 127.

These numbers, particularly hospital deaths, differ to those we get each day, as those are from hospital trust, whilst the ONS are for local authority level.

In total, 149 care home residents in Buckinghamshire are reported to have passed away with coronavirus.

Figures cover people who have lost their lives up until the week ending May 29nd but registered until June 6th.

The number of positive test results in Bucks is 1,028.

This is a rise of 1 on yesterday, with Wycombe going from 251 to 252 cases.

Aylesbury Vale has a total of 426 positive test results. 

The number of positive case results in Chiltern is 202 and the South Bucks figure is currently at 148.
