Six people arrested during drug raids in Aylesbury

Six people have been arrested during a number of drug raids in Aylesbury.

Officers executed multiple warrants on Thursday (11/6) at addresses in Aylesbury and recovered a substantial amount of drugs and cash.

This action is the culmination of a three month investigation into county drugs line activity in the Aylesbury area.

County drug line dealers often use children to deal drugs, use significant violence in their activities and exploit vulnerable members of the community.

Detective Inspector Craig Burchall, based at Aylesbury police station, said:

“Thames Valley Police is committed to tackle serious organised crime and exploitation by working with partners in our Stronghold initiative.

“Yesterday we executed a number of warrants in order to tackle a potential criminal network operation in the Aylesbury Vale area.

“The Aylesbury Vale Stronghold team are dedicated to reducing the supply of drugs in the area.

"We will pursue individuals and seek to recover money, assets and use all other lawful means to remove their ability to cause further harm. This is not a victimless crime. It effects families, neighbourhoods and on occasion innocent bystanders, sometimes with devastating consequences.

“If you need support for drugs problems there is help available from One Recovery Bucks.
