Coronavirus in Bucks: Cases rise by 13

Buckinghamshire has seen a rise of 5 in COVID-19 cases and is now 1,044. 

Over the weekend a further 13 cases were reported bringing the total today to 1,044.

Aylesbury Vale has a total of 433 positive cases, which is the most of the four areas. 

Wycombe has the second highest amount at 258.

Chiltern is reporting 204 cases, while south Bucks has 149 positive results

As no further deaths, of people who have died in Bucks Healthcare NHS Trust hospitals with coronavirus, have been reported over the weekend the total remains at 123.

Figures released last week by the Office for National Statistics put deaths in hospitals in Buckinghamshire at 205, although this may include non-Trust sites.

These figures put the total number of deaths in Buckinghamshire at 369.

Care homes

The weekly ONS data also includes deaths of care home residents and has put that figure at 149, which is up 5 on last weeks total. 

While deaths in hospices and at home remain the same though.

These numbers, including care home deaths and hospital deaths, differ to those we get each day as the ONS are for local authority level.

The figure of confirmed cases includes those who have recovered from the illness.

Numbers are for Buckinghamshire, excluding Milton Keynes.
