Woman robbed in Aylesbury

A woman in her twenties has been robbed in Aylesbury. 

The woman in her mid-twenties was attacked last Wednesday (10/06) at around 4.35pm on Griffin Lane, Aylesbury.

A man demanded money from the victim and assaulted her.

He dragged her to a nearby vehicle, took cash from her and damaged her phone. 

Ryan Searle, aged 37, of Granville Street, Aylesbury was charged with one count of each robbery and criminal damage.

He has been remanded into custody to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Bruce Wilson, based at Aylesbury police station, said:

“I am appealing for any witnesses or anyone who may have information about this incident to please come forward.

“I would also urge any motorists who have dash-cams to check footage in case it may have captured anything that could assist with the investigation.
