Lorry driver dies in M40 crash

A man has died in a crash on the M40 in Buckinghamshire.

At around 6.25am yesterday (Mon), two lorries were involved in a collision between junction 3 and junction 4, near High Wycombe.

The driver of one of the lorries, a man in his fifties, has been taken to hospital with serious leg injuries where he remains.

The driver of the other lorry, also a man in his fifties, died at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

Investigating officer PC Sandra Terry, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said:

“We are appealing for anyone who witnessed this tragic incident, or who has any information to please come forward.

“I would also urge any motorists with dash-cams to check any footage in case it may have captured something that could assist with the investigation.
