Coronavirus in Bucks: Bucks Trust deaths rise to 127

The number of deaths reported by NHS England for Bucks Trust Hospitals has risen by 2.

Following the rise over the weekend, the number of people who have passed away with coronavirus in Bucks Trust hospitals is now 127.

This figure includes those who have died in hospital either with a positive COVID-19 test, or where no test positive result was received but coronavirus was mentioned on the death certificate.

Tomorrow the Office for National Statistics will publish their figures for deaths, which includes those in the community.

Last week the total number of deaths for Buckinghamshrie stood at 381.

These numbers, particularly hospital deaths, differ to those we get each day, as those are from hospital trust, whilst the ONS are for local authority level.

Cases

Following a rise of 3 on reported cases by Public Health England, Buckinghamshire now has 1,068 cases.

Aylesbury Vale saw a rise of 2 cases and continues to have the most cases in the county at 444.

Chiltern saw a rise of 1 positive test results and is now at 211 cases. 

South Bucks no further cases which means their figure stays at 151.

Wycombe's total also reaming the same at 262 cases.

The figure of confirmed cases includes those who have recovered from the illness.

Numbers are for Buckinghamshire, excluding Milton Keynes.
