Stabbing in High Wycombe

A teenager from High Wycombe has been arrested in connection with the incident. 

A man was stabbed in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, at around 8.15am on Friday (26/06) in Rutland Avenue. 

The victim, a man in his twenties, suffered stab wounds to the upper body that required hospital treatment. He has been discharged. 

A 19 year old, from high Wycombe, was arrested in connection with with incident and has been released on bail.

Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Steve Fox, based at High Wycombe police station said:

“I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident, or anyone who has any information to please come forward.

“Further, if any motorists were in the local area around the time of this incident, I would urge them to check any dash-cam footage in case it may have captured something that could assist with the investigation.

“I would also like to thank the local community for their patience whilst officers were in the area making enquiries and reassure residents that we believe this incident to be isolated, and that there is not a wider threat to the general public.
