Coronavirus in Bucks: Aylesbury Vale reports 1 more case

The have been 2 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Buckinghamshire since yesterday.

A rise of 2 cases brings the total for the county to 1,070.

Aylesbury Vale is the only area to report a rise, with its total now 447 positive test results.

It continues to have the most cases in the county , which is over 40% of the county total.

Wycombe has the second highest number of cases at 262.

Chiltern has 211 people with positive results in the area, with South Bucks reporting 151 cases.

Deaths.

The number of deaths reported by NHS England for Bucks Trust Hospitals has remained at 127, after a rise of 2 on Monday (29/06).

This figure includes those who have died in hospital either with a positive COVID-19 test, or where no test positive result was received but coronavirus was mentioned on the death certificate.

Yesterday's Office For National Statistics figures show that deaths overall in the area stands at 383, with the number of deaths in care homes staying the same as last weeks figure. 

These numbers, particularly hospital deaths, differ to those we get each day, as those are from hospital trust, whilst the ONS are for local authority level.
