Grants of up to £50k for charities in Bucks

A grant of up to £50,000 could help Buckinghamshire organisations get back on their feet after the coronavirus pandemic.

The Covid-19 Support Fund has been set up by The Rothschild Foundation and aims to support the local third sector organisations who have been adversely affected by Covid-19.

The Foundation also wants to help those who have experienced significant increased demand for their service to navigate through the next 12 months.

Following the emergency and ensuing lockdown, they are now able to fund charitable organisations that will support the recovery of communities in Buckinghamshire.

The funding will be prioritised for people experiencing hardship, and for more vulnerable groups who are likely to be disproportionately affected by the impact of Covid-19.

Is your organisation eligible to apply?

  • Charities must provide a service to residents in the county.
  • Priority will be given to small to medium-sized organisations with income of up to £1 million.
  • The Fund will support services that are directly responding to the needs of communities that have arisen from the impact of Covid-19 as well as those that are not delivered directly on the frontline but are an important part of the rebuilding process.
  • Find all the details here in the Covid-19 Support Fund Guidance about the application process.

Key details:

Fund opens:  6th July 2020
Fund closes: December 2020

Organisations can apply for grants of between £5,000 – £50,000.

But, the Rothschild Foundation anticipates that competition for funds will be high and ask you to only apply for what you need.

You can get in touch with The Rothschild Foundation if you want more details about the grant here.
