Machete pulled in High Wycombe incident

Four boys were threatened with the weapon in High Wycombe. 

A 28 year old man from High Wycombe has been charged in relation to an incident where a machete was used to threaten four boys last Tuesday (07/07).

A group of four boys on bicycles were on London Road in High Wycombe between 3.50pm and 4.30pm, when they were involved in an altercation with an offender who pulled a machete from his rucksack. 

The offender then threatened the boys with it.  No one was injured during this incident. 

Filip Rudkowski, aged 28, of Terryfield Road, High Wycombe, was charged with one count of possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on 10 August.

Investigating officer, PC Alex Broughton, based at High Wycombe police station, said:

“I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident, or anyone who has information about what happened, to please come forward.

“This happened in the middle of the day when I believe there were people around who may have seen what happened.
