Aylesbury shops urged to celebrate their hard work

Aylesbury shops are being urged to nominate themselves for a competition.

Rob Butler, MP for Aylesbury, is urging local shopkeepers to enter the Best Small Shops Competition.

It celebrates the success of small shops, and the role they play in the community.

There is even a new category for the hard work put in during the pandemic, something Rob says he as seen first hand from Aylesbury shopkeepers:

“We have some fantastic shops in Aylesbury and the nearby villages, from bakeries to jewellers, delis to newsagents.

“Having spoken to owners and staff of many local firms throughout the coronavirus crisis, I know how hard they have worked to adapt their businesses and serve their communities.

“It would be brilliant if a local shop was recognised in the Best Small Shop competition for its outstanding work.”

The Best Small Shops Competition is free to enter and all shops who enter will also be promoted to consumer through an online Indie Retail Directory.

Entries are now open, to submit yours visit the competition website.
