Thame murder victim named

The 19-year-old was found with serious injuries in Thame on Wednesday (22/07). 

The victim of the Thame murder investigation has been identified as Joshua Harling, aged 19 from Oxford. 

The cause of death has been confirmed as a stab wound to the chest, following a post-mortem examination.

Joshua was found on Wednesday evening with serious injuries on Chinnor Road, and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Three teenagers are currently in police custody after being arrested on suspicion of murder; two 19-year-old's one from Buckinghamshire and one from Oxfordshire, and one 15-year-old from Oxfordshire. 

Earlier today, police were granted another 36 hours to question the 15-year-old. 

Joshua's family are being supported by specially trained officers and have requested their privacy continues at this extremely difficult time.
