Five people arrested in High Wycombe

The five men were arrested on suspicion of kidnap and aggravated burglary

Five people arrested in High Wycombe

Police arrested five people following three warrants at addresses in the town on Friday (24/7)

The warrants were carried out in connection with an aggravated burglary and kidnap that happened on 18th July.

The men aged between 18 and 21, are all from the area and were all arrested on suspicion of kidnap and aggravated burglary, they remain in custody.

Items seized at the properties include weapons, mobile phones and clothing. 

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Rachael Peddie, of Wycombe CID, said:

“We have executed these warrants in High Wycombe today in relation to an ongoing investigation into an aggravated burglary and kidnap that took place on 18 July 2020.

“We are conducting a thorough investigation and hope that the arrests made yesterday will provide some reassurance to the local community.
