Thame Double Murder Trial Begins

A murder trial begins today of a man from Thame, who's accused of killing his wife and his mother-in-law.

21 year-old Ensar Gol from Ireton Court, was also charged with the attempted murder of 19 year-old family friend Casey Wilson.

The bodies of 28 year-old Michaela Gol and 50 year-old Julie Sahin were found in the early hours of Sunday the 4th of September last year and Ensar was arrested shortly afterwards in the town's market place.

Both women were stabbed to death.

Gol had nly recently arrived in Britain from his native Turkey at the time of the killings.

The trial begins this morning at Oxford Crown Court.
