The most awkward review ever?..

"The overall feeling is of a third-rate Who imitation."

Stinging words from the NME back on 5th December 1976...

But history would seriously prove them wrong on this one!

This scathing review was of the Sex Pistols' seminal 'Anarchy In The UK'.

It also correctly noted that Johnny Rotten sung the classic flat (which was kind of the point of punk) and the track was "laughably naive".
